Description
For the Spring-Summer 2021 ready-to-wear fashion show, Maria Grazia Chiuri presents a new jacket named Dior Palto. The style is inspired by the Diopaletot creation designed for the Fall-Winter 1957 collection and revealed in Japan by Daimaru in collaboration with Christian Dior. It has a cropped cut and is crafted in a cotton denim which highlights the season’s burgundy Tie & Dior motif. A long tonal lace, used as a belt, highlights the waist. The jacket skims every silhouette with elegance and boldness while remaining relaxed and comfortable, in an ode to freedom of movement. Maria Grazia Chiuri pursues her committed approach to the origin of fashion, the type of cut and the essence of the garment.
